CFM V/S Whey Fraction – A discussion

CFM is a popular name among bodybuilders and athletes around the world, looking to increase their muscle mass or endurance and performance. Manufacturer of whey protein supplements and food products, CFM today has become virtually synonymous with the finest and the best in bodybuilding nutrition and supplement. Whey protein, as the name itself suggests, is derived from globular proteins isolated from whey. Whey protein has been creating ripples around the world ever since its significance in increasing muscle mass of the body was discovered during the mid-80’s of the last century.

Whey Fraction is a more recent discovery. It represents a new generation of whey products known as Bioactive Whey Fraction (BAWF) protein. These new BAWF proteins provide the benefits of high protein levels accompanied by greatly increased levels of bioactive health-promoting compounds. Although a satisfactory conclusion is yet to be reached, studies on this new product indicate a close correlation with increasing muscle mass and boosting performance. Current studies also suggest that these compounds can improve immunity and intestinal health, and along with a host of other benefits.

At this point, one can only wait and watch as the battle between CFM (Traditional whey protein products) and the new Whey Fraction warms up. The outcome is hard to predict.
